Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in improving our business processes and systems by identifying and implementing technology solutions that meet organizational needs. You will work closely with various departments to understand their requirements, analyze system capabilities, and design effective solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- System Analysis: Evaluate existing business systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance system performance.
- Solution Design: Develop detailed system design specifications to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate project activities, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems meet requirements and function correctly. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Implementation & Support: Assist in the implementation of new systems and enhancements, providing support and training to end-users.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system requirements, processes, and changes.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance and user feedback, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes.
- Compliance: Ensure systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in system analysis, design, and testing methodologies. Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software, data analysis tools, and databases. Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
