As a Travel Nurse RN with VitaCare, you will take on temporary assignments in various healthcare facilities, typically lasting 13 weeks. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, adapting to different clinical environments, and contributing to patient-centered outcomes. This role demands flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of patients and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with VitaCare's standards and the policies of each assigned healthcare facility.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, create and implement care plans, and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor patient progress, document all care activities, and communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care delivery.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Quickly adapt to different clinical settings and demonstrate problem-solving abilities in diverse environments.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to all ethical and legal nursing practices.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in [specific area(s) of expertise, e.g., Medical-Surgical, ICU, ER].
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly acclimate to new environments and work efficiently under pressure.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations.
