Data Center Technician

Join our team as a Data Center Technician and become a crucial part of maintaining and advancing data infrastructure! In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing low voltage cabling, including Cat5e/6/6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cables. You'll also install and mount essential networking equipment like routers and switches, ensuring all tasks align with industry standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Proficient with cable testing tools and network equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with data center environments, including PDUs and server racks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with hyper-scale data centers.
• Knowledge of structured cabling systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certifications (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA Network+).
• Experience in low voltage cabling and networking in data centers.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
